Here you go: http://www.portforward.com/ Just go to forwarding and follow the instructions but you don't need a static ip unless it changes in ipconfig/all every time you restart.

Yea, I went there. But I had some troublewith Static IP address. I followed every instruction, and after I made static IP, it didn't give anything to me whatsoever. I put my Ip Adress as Static IP. Or I mean I put my IP adress as Private IP. Is that ok?
And I thought the speed was actually fast but, hmm. I am confused.:(

Are you now getting a green connection light in whatever client you use? If so, you are forwarded. You can go to Start>run, type in cmd and click ok then in the next window, type ipconfig/all and select enter. You can verify you forwarded the proper ip address.

Umm, I don't think Bitlord has a gren light. Besides, it was always downloading. My http sped 120 kb. Before forwading, the speed was 10-20 kb/sec. Weird, now it's 10 or less. I checked, the IP-adress in cmd is the same one in Private IP. Also, I didn't restart my computer. DO i need to?
Thanks.

--edit--
I su Zone Alarm as a firewall. I forwarded in D-link the Virtual Server, I didn't do anything with Application option. Omg , ever since I;ve done that forwarding, my speed gotten even slower. I use ParentGuardian2

--edit--
Oh great, now I am sitting at 2kb/sec. Omg,this totally sucks. How did I forward, that the speed went from 15 to 2?

You don't need to restart your pc, it's just that when you do, your router may search for a new ip address rendering your forwarding useless and that is where having a static address comes in. I use a DL-604+ and a dynamic address and have for 3 years with no problems. Try a port that isn't the default and over 10,000 and make sure it is correct in both your router and BitLord or it just may be the amount of seeds and peers. Also, ensure the Windows firewall is off if that applies

What do you mean? Youmean I just randomly think of a number like 15678 and make sure to put it as Bitlord's listening port and the port in D-link? I use DI-604. [sighs]

3 seeds, 39 peers. Now I'll try 15000 as my port. I don't know anything about this number, just plain random pick.

...say, can't I just plug out the cord that goes into router from modem, connect it right into my room when no-one is home? Direct Internet I mean.

Yes, just pick a random number and use that in BitLord and your router; I chose 34450. The D-Link 604 and 604+ are exactly the same for forwarding; the 604+ is just a 1 off that was made for my ISP. And,yes, you can directly connect to the modem cutting out the router. Might get tiresome, though. BTW, 3 seeds isn't very much and it can also depend how many peers you're connected to and how much they've completed. You could have completed the same amount or more than most and then you're back to 3 seeds for everybody.

There are currently 7 seeds and 40 peers. 10 of those peers are under my percentage. The internet started working noticable slowly, yet the speed is, meh, roughly 8-15. Hmm. Right now is 10 kb download and 16 kb upload.

I'll see the speed in the morning. Before, I had high-speed internet, http speed was 350 kb/sec. And torrents downloaded 30 kb-50kb. Oh well. Now I have light-high speed. Which sucks. They said it's suppose to be 1 mb per second, at least on the site. Why isn't it that way?

Not sure on this but you will never get the advertised speed unless you live on top of a transfer station and the farther awsy you live, the less speed you'll see. Eg., I'm on a 2.5 Mbps plan and within 1 mile of a station and the best speed I've seen is 2.1 Mbps, Also, if you're on Cable or DSL can make a huge difference on speed depending on the day and time of day with Cable and a wireless router can affect speeds. Other than this, don't know.

Hey,thanks. I use Cable. My current speed is jiggling somewhere beween 15-20 kb/sec. That's a bit fast, it's goo though. Thanks.

But yea, the internet takes 3 more seconds to load. Ok thanks for you help. If I make a port number bigger, will that increase my speed :P ?

Changing a port number to a larger one won't make any difference in speed that I know of. Interesting premise, though.
