I have varous rar files that will give me a "the archive is either a unknown format or damaged" I doubt it's actualy corrupt because I have 5 other rar's that just started doing this, and I've tried renaming it other formats ie. iso, bin, zip, exe...ect. I've read about other users having similar issues, but no resolutions, mabee someone can help me....much apreciated

those rars themselfs couldve been damaged or corrupted during the download. try deleting em and redownloading em.

there's also the chance they might not be rars - they could be split files. Like this : Hellboy Animated - Sword of Storms (ws) [Moonsong].part1.avi, Hellboy Animated - Sword of Storms (ws) [Moonsong].part2.avi etc. WinRAR cant open those files cause their not rars. you need something like HJSplit - http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/
