hi guys and gals, i`m planning on getting a psp but i need your advice on wich one is best. i`ve been backing up my ps2 games for some time and have been told that this can be done for the psp. i`ve read the various stickies `` big respect to who took the time to help us noobs``, but i`m a little confused.
1 wich firmware is best, does it matter
2 how many memory sticks do i need and wich ones
3 do i use my ps2 iso`s

sorry if i`m being a complete noob but as i said i`m new to the world of what can be done with the PSP....STAY CLASSY

Okay when you get the PSP, make sure you get a PSP that does not have a L on the bar code. you want anything from 1.0-2.71 1.5 is the best but that is extremely hard to get nowadays. i think there is a sticky with firmware barcodes.

also try to make sure that the psp doesnt have a TA082 motherboard.
1.firmware 1.5 is probably the best firmware, if you want to run homebrew and isos
2.what mem stick you need'll depend on you, if youre goin to be playing isos , i suggest getting a 2gb.
3.no you cant use you ps2 iso, only psp isos .

most PSPS are now TA-082 the bst thing to do is buy of a friend.
