EPSON Scan will not open

Hi my printer/scanner will not work anymore, I have tried installing the drivers again and uninstalling it and then reinstalling again, I checked every wire to make sure they are the correct wire, but each time I start the EPSON Scan program I get a message saying that it can not be started, I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Scan program, but nothing.

The Printer is EPSON Stylus CX3810 (link below to item):

Any help is welcomed.
