i found out there was a wireless router in my school so decided to tke my psp in to have a play and try and get online . i set up the settings as i feel were correct and presed test conection butit says obtainig IP address timed out. i know there is WEP security on the router do i need the key or ....??????????

Yes, you do need the WEP key for access...

Become friends, with the system administrator or bribe him and get the key somehow lol, yes u need the key.
