[HELP!!] PSP went blank after downgrade to 1.5(after red screen)

I bought a PSP with 2.6, my little brother wants to upgrade to 2.71 then downgrade to 1.5.
-He manage to upgrade to 2.71 after that he uses this downgrader
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/753. Which says DOES NOT WORK ON TA-082 MOTHERBOARDS!. But know what my mobo is TA-082 and he didnt check.
now when he goes to that photo menu, psp freezes and give red monitor after that it went blank..
Tried to turn it on, no display.
What should i do?

I am new here and kind of a noob, but I do not know some info on PSP homebrew and its architecture. First of all, you cannot downgrade a ta-082 PSP to 1.5 as it will 100% brick you PSP. You say it cannot turn on, well you have bricked your PSP sadly. If you decide to buy a new non ta-082 PSP again, make sure it is not a ta-082, and does not have firmware higher than 2.71. I feel very sorry for you. Let your PSP rest in peace.

ah right wasnt sure if that was the case, guess ur stuck with it, maybe sell it for parts if ur lucky, if not its a pretty paperweight.

well u can order one of ebay or something they always have stuff like that and if u have profe of purchase you can return it to the store with a story like it laged durin game play now it wont turn on and make sure u act mad that way they wont dare question you lol
or send it to sony whome will must likely send u a TA-082 with 2.81 and up but its better then a brick if u ask me

Your best bet would be to either blag the shop you bought it from, or send it to Sony.

They argued with me regarding the warranty, the chances that i will not receive a new psp is quite high. because they tested in front of me and the unit is ok.

yeah hes right if u go in and make a fuss they will sort u out, ive worked in shops in the past and wen somthin like that happens the managment wanna sort it out asap cos it looks bad for business, hope ya get it sorted
