Ack! im having issues with devhook, im trying to install it on my psp im following this ( http://forums.qj.net/f-psp-homebrew-and-...july-63037.html ) guide to the letter,
after installing everything, (including the 2.60 and 2.71 reboot.bins to their respective folder, "i also put the 2.71 reboot.bin into the kd folder in the main dh" And the flash1 folders from the Flash dumps (using flash-x16f)
i launch the devhook firmware installer and install the 2.71 firmware from the 2.71 psar in the root of my memorystick, go to the main menu and nothing happens my psp is still 1.50, so i try the devhook launcher and that doesnt work,
I dont know if some other program is interfering the only other mod programs ive used in the past was the Wab 2.0+ version changer, and the x-flash but that was part of the tutorial.
My current psp version is 1.50, it was 1.51 when i purchased it, so i upgraded to 2.00? (cant remember if that was it) than i used the downgrader to go back to 1.50, emulators work fine but i cant find a version changer or any program that will allow me to launch a 2.71 game.
All im trying to do is play loco roco without having to update can anyone give me some advice?
Also Im running loco roco from the umd not the memory card, im just trying to bypass the update, but i would also like to try and get the devhook working so i can have the 2.71 features on my psp
