Not sure how using grabit, but open more server connections? I use a combination of NewsBin and Newsleecher (for super search). Have you paid for a server provider ie giganews or newshosting? good luck.
ps is this supposed to be in the ps2 general forum?

isp ng servers suck balls (generally speaking). well if you are on a budget newshosting is cheap, but i use giganews cause its got the best retention. as far as nzb's go there are a few sites you can get them from like nzbsrus and nzbmatrix. and i'd suggest using newsbin or newsleecher as your client, but they aren't free...or are they?
ps open 10 server connections in your prefferences

i use astraweb,cost me £6 a month,and they have 8 connections now,not the 4 the link above says
retention is lower though, but good enough for me,although i need quickpar sometimes
i use grabit also, and grab nzb's from these 2 sites
http://www.newzbin.com/ (25p per week subs)
http://www.nzbsrus.com/ (free)
btw, this needs moving to correct section, not ps2 general help

the more connections open the faster you will recieve data. with an average giganews account you get 10 connections open at once, and you will get data as fast as you can accept it...unless you got some wicked connection (ie .edu). If you do have a wicked connection i'd reccommend the new Diamond service from giganews, as it allows 20 simultaneous connections. I don't care who your isp is 20 simultaneous connections will max out anyones bandwidth :) Sorry this sounds like an ad for giganews, but I don't get paid squat for this post.
check out the prices yourself

That sounds a bit slow. I have only 10 connections open and I download at 1200kb/s, but I have a good internet connection.
