Running a ISO in Devhook

I have some ISO's in devhook. For space sake i compressed to CSO's. One game works no problem The other tends to either freeze the system, or the UMD thats in the system for loading sakes, loads rathr than the game.
Im using Devhook. Any suggestions how to get these to run?
Or good compression programs?
