I am wishing to add files to my DVD-RW disksusing Nero 6. in the expert features tab dvd overburning is checked but when i try to add a small video to the DVD-RW ( Which already has a small video on it) it says it will overwrite the previous video.
any suggestions to help me use the full capacity of the DVD-RW disk.

Hi smack23
Use Burning Rom - ISO option. Pick continue multi session under the multi session tab.

Give that a go.

It's part of Nero - you should have it. When you open SmartStart it will be listed under applications.

See if you have it listed there.

I'm guessing you are using Express in Nero?

hmmm sounds like you have an oem version of Nero - very limited - so trying to update it may not work since the serial # usually controls what options you have.
You can give it a shot if you like and I can post some links.

Do you have any other burning software? I'm trying to think of another one that's similar to Nero - there is some - i just usually use Nero.

Hmmm give ImgBurna shot. Good free burning program.

You would use the build mode to add files and burn.
I've never tried it for multisession or adding to a RW disc so not too sure on that point.

Here's kinks to 2 guides for you on the build mode - the 2nd has more detail than the 1st one but all you should need is in the 1st one.
Guide 1
Guide 2

Thanks for that
Iv managed to create a dvd with one video on it which uses about a quarter of the dvds memory
i am wishing to add 1 or 2 more videos of the same size to this dvd.
eg. write 3 videos to the disk
It will not let me do this
Any ideas on this one.

Dang - was hoping ImgBurn had this feature.

RecordNow should support DVD's - I used to have it but haven't used it in years.
If this is an oem version too though you option may be limited too.
Here are 2 guides to maybe help find where to go in RecordNow - one option though 'close' disc should be changed. And check what the default for multisession is. You'll want it to to not be set to 'no'
Link 1
Link 2

Next option would be to give the demo of Nero 7 a go. Uninstall Nero then you can download Nero 7 from aD under the software tab.

What speed is your connection? It shoudln't take that long ;)

Also, Nero 6.6.0.19 is a Nero OEM version that come with BenQ drives (is designed for, rather). I think it is OK to go to 6.6.0.18 cos I have got people to do it before X)

Save your serial number, then run this.

Now run these packages...

Package 1.

Package 2

Get back to us. :-)

Nero servers have been slow again lately so like ripper said will depend on your connection.
If you have dial up and they're slow - geez may take awhile.
