ok,well i have got the demo version of Nero 7,and ive been trying to burn some videos onto a memorex DVD-R.But everytime it transcodes everything,and is nearly finished,it comes up with a message like,please put in empty disk to write to,but it is an empty disk!Please help me!

Post a log for us to look at. It will be in your Nero history folder in program files. You only want to post the last one though, not the entire history :P

Well go to My Computer, then Local Disk C, then Program Files, then Ahead, then Nero, then Nero History. Something like that.
Then scrool to the bottom and find the last burn you tried to do. Copy & paste that last bit of the log here. :-)

Ok i downloaded that,did all the stuff you said,but it wont let me copy and paste,is there any particular bit you need where i can tell you what it says or whether it is ticked or whatever?

Your burner is a CD burner not a DVD burner. To burn DVDs you will need to buy a new drive.

Yeah it should have one in it. I am UK too, was just gunna reccomned a few, tis all :P

Check it has DVDRW drive, not DVDROM. If it is DVDROM it will read DVD, but not burn DVD.

It should say in the Ad or @ the shop, on the box what type of DVD drive it has.
