Would it be possible to edit an Eboot file to say, trick the psp into thinking it is a demo?

EX: Copying some info from the Loco Roco demo, and using it in a homebrew application

ps: I do not want to downgrade so do not tell me to!

No because the DATA.PSP file in the EBOOT (which is just a container file) is encrypted and you can't edit it.
