I'm going to buy a psp for my son for christmas,and was wondering if it's possible to burn/ copy the games to a mini disc,or do you have to download them and put them on a memory stick to play them,same question for the umd movies?
any help greatly appreciated. thanks

You can't burn them to minidiscs as the PSP uses UMDs which are different and you can't buy blank UMDs.

However you can download them or rip them and put them/play them from the memory stick.

The method for doing this depends on the firmware version. Make sure you get a PSP that is firmware 2.71 or lower.

Man this is what i do...Ill burn every game that i have to have some decent backups then ill buy a flash disc to be able to store my favorite games and take it to me where ever i go....
