I switched broadband companies and I used to have this sweet Westell Versalink 327W modem/router with built in wireless reciever and four ethernet ports when I had Verizon. Then I moved to a place where I couldn't get the service and I switched to a local broadband company that gave me a very crappy broadband modem with only one ethernet port.

What I want to do is to play GT4 on my PS2 online through a program on the PC. To do this I need to have both my PC and my PS2 hooked up to my modem. Is there any way that I can switch modems? I tried just plugging the old one in but couldn't get a connection. I probably have to change some settings or something.

my suggestion is getting a wifi router or hardwired router ad that to your modem you can get one on Ebay for under $30 and its yours to keep or try shopping the local electronics stores it's christmas time buddy some good bargains are out there. I have dsl with att and a lynksys wifi router no probs playing games. except for one and its old starcraft no big deal
