Problem with PSP USB connection.

I'm having some big problems connecting my PSP to my laptop (Windows XP). Everything was working fine intil I performed a Windows XP repair. Now windows recognizes the PSP as a drive and not as a Type A or B mass storage device like it is supposed to and when I go to my computer the PSP does not show up. I don't know if this has something to do but I played ISO's through USB using this laptop. I tried connecting the PSP to my PC and it worked perfectly. What could the problem be?

it might be that when you repaired the laptop you might have accedentaly or the maybe it was the computer that might have deleted the software needed to read the cod efrom the psp. Or you could have been unlucky and the software didn't come with your laptop espacial seeing as it's XP.
