I have a 2.71 emulated to 1.5, which was super easy with devhook instant installed. However, I have to downgrade my neighbor, who has 2.6. I want to update 2.6 to 2.71 (no higher)--what is the easiest and safest way to upgrade 2.6 to 2.71 with no fears (or risks). Thanks!

download the 2.71 update. Create a folder name UPDATE (use caps) inside of the GAME folder. The updates go in the updates folder and you will see them in the XMB where u normally run homebrew. Or there is the UMD method where u get a game that needs 2.71 and then run the update from the UMD.

You guys rock-so, basically I download the upgrade and go to 2.71-then, I can use my devhook and go to 1.5 and emulate 2.71 (I need to update my machine to 2.71 se or whichever version allows kernal, but I haven't done it yet).
Hey, by the way, what is the easiest way to sort my saved games that are on my computer (I have a so many saved game files and I can't determine which games they are by just opening the folder (although some show an icon that reveal the game)-most just have numbers and letters
Again, you guys are awesome.

Sorry if I was confusing-basically, is there an easy way to sort through saved games files? When saved to computer, nearly of all of them are numerical labeled, with only some having icons in the forementioned folders (when they have the icons, I can figure out what game the saved file goes to). How cab I sort out what games the saved files go to, without having the icons?
