avi(divx wont play)

ok i cant play my avi(DivX) files to play on windows media player 10.
I can run the AVI file(DivX)on DivX player and Media Player Classic, but media play and my movie editing softwares cant view please help me any1.

what are you wanting to do? it works on two of your software players so you need to get it to play on all three? just get quick time and you can play it on that player much better thain windows media player 10, and you can do all kinds of cool stuff with quick time player, but if you are wanting to burn to disk like dvd use vso convertxtodvd, hope that helps happy burning have a nice day

MPC has a built in avisplitter, so it could be that the default one isn't working. Try re-registering quartz.dll.

um ya i think so because i tried installing codecs, reinstal media player 10, then 11 then rollback ya but since its hasnt been able to play it in wmp it is afeccting windows movie maker and my power director express programs-_- so i cant view them to ediet the avi(DivX) files arghhhh
