Hi there, im having a few issues on some diska=s after ripping wereby they stop for half a second randonly throughout the film, but gets more often near the end of the disk.

The picture quality is superb, the films are sometimes compressed other times not, but the results are the same.
I dont get any articles or corruption, just the odd pause...

My Q's are this, is the the software im using or the disks( saying that i have tried other media)

Im doing the disks with dvdfab latest version.
media i use is ritek -

Cheers

what are you viewing your burned DVDs with? Standalone or PC where it was burned? Usually freezing, pausing, pixelations, skipping are attributed to media...... but it could also be the player having trouble reading the media for a # of reasons: burned too fast, burned near the out edge of the disk and poor quality media! Here is a media guide for you: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm
just use the MIJ (Made In Japan) rule. Look on the label of the spindle or box and only buy media MIJ (Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Maxell, Fuji, MIJs). Verbatim is the only exception to the rule, as they are made in Taiwan/Singapore and are top notch media. Which will stop freezing, pixelations, skipping, pausing, etc. Good luck.

nice catch Creaky! I would never have thought about DVDFab going bad..... what's the chances of both AnyDVD and DVDFab updates going bad at the same interval as each one updated!? hmmmmmmm weird!
