i always wanted to get a custom startup on my psp fw 1.5 i saw this one on youtube not a gameboot http://youtube.com/watch?v=4fkc9LBZ7mU and i was wondering do i have to flash it and where can i download the app and the startup

custom firmware - it's called a c-intro boot or something.

This is only on 2.71 SE-B. I tried to get it working on 1.50 and it wouldn't work. But yea, why wouldn't it run isos and cisos? lol

It works on 1.5.
Saddly not on Harleyg's custom firmware but It should work on Dark_Alex's Custom Firmware Proof of Concept for 1.5.

For SE-B Users.

1. Make a new folder inside the game folder and name it "BOOT" without the quotes

2. Copy the cintro EBOOT to the BOOT folder.

3. Copy the file "pmfPlayer.prx" from the cintro folder and also put it in the BOOT folder.

4. Copy the whole INTRO folder and put that inside the SYSTEM folder and replace the gameboot inside the intro folder with your own.

5. On your psp go into recovery mode and ENABLE the option to skip the SCE logo.

6. On the line where it says "Autorun program at /PSP/GAME/BOOT/EBOOT.PBP" you anable that.

After all that is done hit back then exit and it should load up you gameboot instead of the SCE logo.

hey guys, i already have a custom bootsound, if i install a custom startup will something bad happen like a brick or will the bootsound interfere with the startup?
