Ok I've been using this emulator:

http://dl.qj.net/MVSPSP-1.0-PSP-Emulators/pg/12/fid/10863/catid/126

I know it has something to do with the converter packaged with it. When I select a ROM (Metal Slug 1) it says

ERROR: ROM not found. (zip file name incorrect)



Do you guys know how to fix this problem. To get the ROM to run on a PSP you have to put the ROM in the rom file and the Cache thing (made by the converter) in the cache file right?





Also does anyone know how to get the corrupt files to the bottom of the PSP instead of having them mixed?

Yes it is in the ROM folder. It will appear in the emulator but it is red and wont run (along with others I have tried)

make sure only the rom files are in the zip, ie get rid of html or other files in the .zip

Ok yea there was an html in there I extracted it deleated it and then rearchived it but its still red in the emulator and the converter still won't work

Why are you keeping the rom in the zip? Try extracting the rom files directly into the rom folder, instead of putting the zip in there.

You need to use MAME roms. not neogeo ones.

1. Make sure you have the bios in the rom folder
2. make sure your roms are zipped and in the roms folder. (this saves a LOT of space)
3. make sure you have your cache files in the cache folder

(the cache files can be kept in zipped folders, ONLY IF you use mvspsp v1.0) the newer ones like v1.5 don't accept zipped folders in the cache)

i'm pretty sure that's it. if you have any more questions, than please do so.

o yea, i forgot something

does anyone know how to save and load in mvspsp?
also, does anyone know how to make it fullscreen?

Somebody at the QJ forums told me to press R at the menu to access the options but all that leads me is to a Help thing.

any comments will be appreciated
