I downloaded the 3.01 by using the PSP Network Udpdate option on my PSP. I followed all the instructions but after reseting the psp it hasnt turned back on. It glows for about 10 seconds with out showing the Sony startup thing and then powers off. Ive been charging it for about 2 hours but still no luck.

Go to the retailer you got it from. Or go to the sony website to get an address and details etc. I think it's about $50AUS to get it fixed...unless it's still under warranty.

Of course it will...anything that fiddles with the flash has a chance of bricking your psp.

I tried looking for something on sending your psp away, but this is all i could find. Good luck man ;)
