Emulating Firmware 3.0 in Devhook?

I dont feel like its worth upgrading to a f3.0 or.01, you loose all the awsome homebrewing abilities from devhook. Does anyone know if devhook is emulating 3.0 anytime soon?.
Would it work to upgrade to 3.0 (to connect to a ps3) and then install devhook so that you have the option to use whatever firmware you please>?

If you upgrade to 3.0 than you won't have the option to use devhook. I saw something on qj.net that someone is making a devhook for 2.8 and possibly 3.0. So I'd just wait if I were you.
What firmware do you have right now?
Ta-082 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 2.8 > Brick > 2.6
> 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.71 M33 > 3.80 M33 > 3.90 M33-3 > 4.01 M33-2

stay with 1.5 and get the 2.71-3.01 devhook. its out now. googleygoogley!!

i do not think emulating 2.8 or 3.00 or 3.01 is out yet rite.coz its only been decryted only.

I dont think there is a new devhook that emulates 2.81 or 3.00, but there is a new devhook that lets you play new games with higher firmware through devhook FW 2.71

Yea, that's what I was talking about, it has 2.8 prx's, so 2.8 games are more compatible I guess.
LAMPRO: I seriously wouldn't trust google for that, I've seen no devhook release on qj.net which so far seems to be a very trustworthy and up to date site. >_>
