When you turn the power on I want you to look at the processor fan and see if it comes on. Also hold your hand behind the computer to make sure that your power supply is coming on properly.

If your fans are working then check each connection on the motherboard to insure that they are connected firmly, this includes your memory. Unplug all of your PCI, ISA (if you have any), and graphics cards from the computer. If your graphics card is the only card you have to view the monitor with, don't worry. Try to start your machine again.

Note: Make sure the computer is unplugged and that you are static free before touching any components. You have to be careful when messing with electronic equipment.

If I am reading this correct, then it may not be the MBoard. Well, let me rephrase that, It might have started with a faulty PS. Now you might need both a new MBoard, processor, and PS. Because it sounds like you overheated your system.

There is not any telling without testing. Try replacing the power supply first. You can find a decent one for 30 to 50 bucks. Just make sure to watch your CPU Fan to make sure it is operating. See if that works before you go any further. You may have blown the whole system.
