I just purchased my psp last night in an entertainment pack. I went to the sony website and updated to 3.01 without knowing much. Is there any devhooks for 3.0 or how do i downgrade I have been trying over and over and all I get is corrupted data. Someone please help me!

You won't be downgrading anytime soon. My guess is that your PSP came with a TA-082 or TA-086 motherboard, and that blocks the 1.50 IPL, and so you won't be able to downgrade to 1.50 the normal way. You'd have to downgrade using hardware, provided by 0okm, and I don't think he's doing it publically anymore. And even if they weren't those motherboards, there are no known exploits for 3.01. So you're stuck...for now.

the ta-086 is only pink i think and it may not be ta-082 if it came from the entertainment pack and listen man NEVER UPGRADE

Yea I know that. But what do I do now? I really want to play homebrews! =(..is there a guide on how to crack psp so I can try to do it myself or at least try! =(

You have 2 choices, either buy another 1.5 psp or wait for your mobo to be cracked(which should be quite a long wait).

sell it and buy a second hand 1.5 off ebay, then stop upgrading.

if you onyl bought it yesturday..then exchange it for another and keep doign that untill you get a 2.71 or something thats desirable
