Heres How You Do It: (Taken From Maxconsole Forums)
Quote: OK, here is a step by step guide. It is almost the same as the one in the package, but still maybe a little more noob friendly.
1: Cope the content of MS:ROOT to your ms:// (the root of your memorystick)
2: Get yourself a 2.71 update EBOOT. You can get it here:
http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-Firmw...8046/catid/163
3: Unpack your 2.71 EBOOT with a program like PSPBrew. Get it here:
http://dl.qj.net/Firmware-2.71-Firmw...8046/catid/163
4: Extrackt the DATA.PSAR file from the EBOOT
5: Put the DATA.PSAR file in the ROOT of your memorystick
6: Decrypt the DATA.PSAR with a psarDecrypter. Get it here:
http://dl.qj.net/Psardumper-3.00-ext...1388/catid/151
7: Run the psarDumper on your psp and press SQUARE
8: You now have a decrypted version of 2.71 in the the folder F0 wich is in the ROOT of your memorystick
9:Copy the file audio.prx wich is located in ms0:/F0/kd/audio.prx to the ROOT of your memorystick (or anywere where you van keep it safe).
10: Delete the F0 folder and the DATA.PSAR
11: Download an 2.82 EBOOT. Get it here:
http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-2.82-U...0921/catid/163
12: Unpack the EBOOT with PSPBrew and put the DATA.PSAR in the ROOT of your memorystick
13: Run the psar decrypter on your psp and press CROSS.
14: You now have a dumped version of 2.82 on your memorystick, located in the folder F0 in the ROOT of your memorystick
15: Copy the F0 folder to ms0:/dh/282/F0/
16: Copy the audio.prx files from your 2.71 firmware (from the ROOT of your memorystick or where ever you kept it) to ms0:/dh/282/F0/ and overwrite the one already there.
17: Run devhook.50 and go to the "FLASH ROM" menu.
18: If you got devhook files flashed to flash1 remove these first.
19: Then flash the config file to flash1, so choose "flash1: < ms0: install configfile". Then press circle.
20: Then choose firmware 2.82 in the "FIRMWARE" menu and press the run "START" in devhook (use the circle button).
21: Your psp now reboots to 2.82 and you have to set your settings.
22: Congrat's on your devhook .50 with 2.82!!!
Worked For Me :)

So you put the forder F0 which has the 2.82 dump inside the other F0 folder or do you replace it?
