Wow I was attempting to do install this this weekend, but I found this custom installer just now.

There isn't really any requirements listed. Just wondering if any of you know if I can install this if I have 2.71 fw. All it says is to connect the psp and run the installer app. The files will be copied to the memory stick.

Do I have to switch to hen-c before I run the installer or can I leave my psp on fw 2.71 then run the installer?

Thanks.

This might seem like a silly question.

It looks like 2.71 SE-C is installed alright.

Now what? How do I play my back up ISO's? I clicked on one game icon in game. It then came back and told me the game couldn't be started. None of my games could start. What do I do now?

Do I need to do devhook or anything?

Thanks.

Thanks. Now that I got the iso's to work, I have a few more questions.

1.Will not all iso's work? All but one of mine so far work. Tokobots won't work. Is there something I can try?

2.Also, in the install, devhook 2.71/2.80 hybrid should have been installed. I still have the same .4x launcher for 2.71. That isn't it is it? If not, wonder what happened to the install. What do I need to do to play the most current games?

3.I noticed some of my emulators like the nes and snes is shown as a corrupt file because I can't find them in the game folder when I cycle through my game folder. How do I access them? Do I have to switch to 1.5 or something? Do I use henc, devhook?

4.I was reading through the SE-B readme file and it mentions

"SE runs all homebrew from the /PSP/GAM271 folder using the 2.71 kernel."

The problem is, I don't have a /PSP/GAM271 folder. It wasn't created on the install. I have a /PSP/GAME150 folder though. Where's my GAM271? Will this be a problem?

5.So what can I do with se-c exactly? So do I have to do any switching between 1.5 and 2.71 firmware?

6.This is also in the se-b readme file. What does it all mean?

SE runs all homebrew from the /PSP/GAM271 folder using the 2.71 kernel. The compatibility of
applications using the 2.71 kernel is the same as HEN-C since they both use the same core.
Homebrew here have to be NOT kxploited.

- To run applications with the 1.50 kernel, and have about 99% compatibility with current homebrew,
put those applications in the /PSP/GAME150 folder.
Homebrew here can be either kxploited or not.

Now the standard folder, /PSP/GAME can be configured in the recovery menu to either execute 1.50
homebrew or 2.71 one. (by default is set at 2.71 for compatibility with previous version)

Sorry for all the questions. Se-c is pretty new to me. Thanks.
