N00b 2.01 Q updating/downgrading

holler! I know this has probably been said a thousand times before BUT... I have a 2.01 PSP. I want to be able to play games from the memort stick (without the aid of GTA or any other UMD). I also want to be able to have the functionality of web browing and flash player viewing.

What is the best route for this? an upgrade to 2.71? If so, once I have updated to 2.71 then what? What do I need to do and how do I go about it? (software, changes etc)

u will want to upgrade to 2.71 Se-c then you can run without UMD !

wicked, is that available on the Sony site? Once upgraded how would I go about running ISO games and poss Devhook/homebrew?
