I am using the Rip it for me program to try and get a working copy of Phantom of the Opera (2004). I keep having the same error and do not know enough about dvd structure to troubleshoot what the problem is. My finished disk ends up skipping from chapter 5 to chapter 9 every time. (Also if I hit the backwards seek button it goes back to chapter 5 beginning.) I dont understand what part controls this or what I need to do differently. I tried using it with and without the FixVTS option and got same results. (P.S. Why does it say that it recommends not using FixVTS?) There are other errors in chapters and playback but I am sure they are all related. I tried other programs to rip it such as the dvdfab decrypter and DVD Shrink with absolutely no luck getting them to run. They just froze.

Any help is much appreciated.

try using this program to rip the disc dvdfabdecrypter at download from this link http://dvdidle.com/free.htm then open the files using DVD Shrink to create an iso to burn sounds like copy protection and dvdfab can handle it.
