Well I downloaded sudd's premade pack, and put all the files where they should be. I ran my normal 2.71 devhook to emulate 1.5. And then I ran the new devhook. Can I just go to Firmware and click 3.01 and go? Or was I supposed to do something before? (The flash files thing.)
Because when I just selected the 3.01 firmware, it rebooted so I thought it worked, but it just went back to 1.5.
Ta-082 2.6 > 2.71 > 2.5 > 2.6 > 2.8 > Brick > 2.6
> 2.71 > 1.5 > 3.52 M33 > 3.71 M33 > 3.80 M33 > 3.90 M33-3 > 4.01 M33-2

Is it suppose to work automatically after you drop the premade sudds 3.01 devhook on your psp or are you suppose to touch something?

sudds pre-pack didnt work for me
I just made it myself, its easy and the transfer to mem stick time takes longer than the actual process of making it. Seems much more stable than .50, still no overclocking, but thats what .46 hd is for.
BTW, is it true that 333 will cause your wifi to burn out, Ive been using mine for like 2 months with no probs (MOH:Heroes), but dont wanna lose my wifi capabilities.
uhm...

I managed to correcntly install devhook with firmware 3.01. Everything was fine and i managed to boot devhook fine. However, while devhook ran all games i had fine, i found that my SEb'' wouldnt run homebrew. I removed 3.01 from flash1 and found that most of my games ran fine, except Tales of Eternia, which came back
"Games could not be started error 80020148"
This was also the case for SEC which i installed. Any ideas? Running Devhook shouldnt permenantly affect my SEB/SEC? Should it?

erms..i've downloaded sudd's dev 0.51 and followed the instructions given but whenever I boot, the screen just stays at the blank there and shuts off after awhile. Is there any steps involved after or before this?

I think I know where the prob lies..this fw uses a sigcheck therefore all psp must have their own personal dump.
"Run PSARDumper on your PSP, once its loaded up press X to dump a sigchecked 3.01. Once its done your PSP will return to the main menu."

You need a sigcheck or it'll never work. In other words, sudds' devhook will never work for other ppl's psp other than himself's due to individual signature check. I solved this problem by running the step I mention here. After that, overwrite the entire f0: in 301 folder with the one newly generated in your ms0:. Go to devhook and flash cfg file to f1(1st option) and you can run it.
Or if it cannot work, redo the entire thing: http://www.psp-hacks.com/2006/12/04/devh...-fw-301-support
Make sure you delete all the files before redoing.
