Need help on a guide to upgrade 1.52 to 2.0?

Hi there, I reading everywhere but seems that everyone has the new psp's with the 2.x firmwares, I have and older 1.52 firmware and I think from what I'm reading I need to upgrade to 2.0 and then downgrade to 1.5, not 1.0?

I got the 2.0 firmware on the card on under game\upgrade .
Now I don't know if I need and specific game?

I'm going to memory stick right under Game and when I select that, I get the Psp update v2.00, if I select that I get psp logo and then it gives me and error: The game could not be started. (80020148). I found that the error means: I have missing PSAR file.

Now my question is: Do I need a spefic game to get the 2.0 upgrade? Do I need to upgrade from 1.52 to 2.0? all of the post and documents I've seen are from 2005, maybe there is a downgrader from 1.52 to 1.0 out there now? Any help on my old psp would be aprecciated.

ok get your 2.0 eboot from www.psp-hacks.com and make sure the UPDATE folder is in capitals!!!

Ok lol, On the other post it said name it UPGRADE, I rename it UPDATE from what you said and I got the update window. Thx.

Now this is the way to get homebrew software to work on a 1.52 right? 1.52 to 2.0 and then downgrade to 1.5 ?

well now being a 1.5 owner its up to you where to start lol, you can play classic SNES NES games or SEGA games, you can controll your tv and other electronics with your psp. ummmmm or you can play backupped games ;)
