Hello-

I remember reading something about DVD-RAM drives being bad for backing up DVDs to
DVD-R, DVD-RW, etc. I have the Toshiba
DVD-RAM SD-W2002, is anyone familiar with it and does anyone know it this will work for backing up my DVDs? Thanks in advance

Unfortunately DVD-RAM is useless, since no DVD player and none of the DVD-ROM drives can read DVD-RAM discs. Also, the amount of data you can fit on DVD-RAM is slightly less than on DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW discs.
