I currently have a verizon dsl in my house. It's connected to my linksys wireless router. My computer and my laptop are both connected and have no problems. I do have a wap security on my wireless internet. I tried to connect my psp and it said it was not connecting to the network. If anyone can tell me what to do please help me.

What firmware do you have?

Firmware 1.5 can't connect to access points with WAP security.

Go to System Settings > System Information and your firmware should show up. If its 2.5 or higher, Im sure it should support WAP cause I know 2.
71 does.

Anything thats 2.00 or higher supports WPA security.

The psp is version 2.7. But it won't connect. This is the error i get a connection error has occurred. A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again
