so yove tried naming them 150.PBP/271.PBP AND JUST 150/271?

Well, I even downgraded back to 1.50 and it still doesn't load, so it must be my UMD drive. I'm gonna go make use of my EBGames warranty.

I helped this guy that had similar problems to you and it ended up being his laser was off track. Try it out...

Well, I tried that, I pushed it back and forth but nothing happened. When I listen to it I hear it spinning for a bit, then I hear it just slow down and stop.

Hello I just bought a PSP from ebay and the psp cant read any UMD disk I already try the pen thing to move the laser any other ideas??

Yeah, it starts up, and then it just winds down and all the noise stops. But the PSP acts like it still trying to load it.
