help with Devhook 0.51

hey,
i recently got devhook 0.51 and used the easy installer. It worked fine but now everytime i click start devhook (after setting the settings) some words show up like reboot system but then the screen turns black and then shuts off and i have to reboot it. i have the thing that allows multiple devhooks, like that package and they all do that! On my other memory stick that just has devhook 0.46. that works fine.
i'm wondering do i have to install the flash files? i haven't done that cause i thought u don't have to. do u?

Yeah you definately have to flash the files, otherwise devhook won't start anything higher than 2.8x.

yeah man, couple of days ago...old news now....
EDIT: in devhook, there is only one option under FLASHROM...that being install devhook config files to flash1

Select the "install devhook configfile to flash1:" option in the FLASH ROM menu.

k i did it but it still don't work. i'm not sure i did it right, i held O after it told me to then some words came down the screen but then i let go thinking it wanted me to and then it said press any button to go back.
should i flash flash0?

No, you only need to install to flash1 to get it working.

k, i did, it didn't work. it still goes blank after starting devhook.
Some words apear saying reboot system when i press start devhook and then its a dark screen. Then it just shuts off.
