UMD not working I need Help with 2.71 SE-C

Hello I just got a used PSP and the UMD are not been read, I find out with the 2.71 SE-C there is a option to play ISO's with NO UMD inside, but I need help to install this 2.71 SE-C..anyone ???

BTW You can not have a TA-082 motherboard or you will brick your PSP if you try this.

Once you have installed SE-C, you have to turn NO-UMD on by going into recovery (by holding R at startup).

BTW the 2.71 basic installer in psp-hacks got stuck on 70% of the process....not after about 5 minutes the easy installer is completed is telling me to run the 271 SE-C install, but when I do that my psp just freeze and turn off..!!

Thats good.

But there are still risks in flashing. But it should be ok if your battery is fully charged and you have the AC adapter plugged in.

I put 2 isos now it shows them but I guess the UMD option is not disabled yet because I cant play them...help me located that NO UMD option

You have to have firmware 2.71 SE-C to stop UMD Autorun.

You just go to recovery on startup by holding down R. Then you go to Configuration and select "Skip SCE Logo". Then the SCE on startup will disappear and the UMD wont load automatically either.
