HELP please my new Pioneer is making coasters!

i just got the Pioneer 111d and i was just backing up one of my movies and it has made 3 coasters in a row :(
im lost and don't know what to do i used DVD Shrink for my video-ts file and it error message this. If anyone can help figure out whats wrong it would be a great help. I was burning fine on my last Pioneer drive but i just upgraded it because it didn't have dual layer burner capability, but this project was just single layer thanks please help. All i did was replace the drive and tried to burn thats it and it won't work. Thanks guys

It's the latest firmware, for reading new disks.
i tryed to update the firmware but it said failed to move to normal mode??? what should i try next thanks for you helping me

Have you tired burning with updated Nero? If it's still bad then I'd say you have it installed wrong... or you got a defective one...
Make sure it is set to MASTER jumpers at the back. If you don't know, Google it :-)

yeah i mastered it and messed around with all day yeaterday, i used the new updated Nero and it work shhhhoooo glad i didn't have to send it back thanks for all your help. i kept playing with because at first it didn't even burn Cd's (didn't want to waste anymore dvd-r's lol). So its working now and thanks again. :)

It wold have been the older version of Nero didnt recognise your drive :-)
