RAM-2048mb
hardrive-320GB
graphics card-Nvidia Geforce 6150 (going to get a 500mb card)

Acording to the stats my computer is better then the PS3 or XBOX 360, not to mention the Wii.

lmao, your PC will never play gams better than a ps3 or the wii. You processor is'nt better for gameing either. Even some ps2 games would run slow on that.
Not to mention your GPU is a generatoin below the ps3, and your memory speed is 4x slower than the XDR the ps3 has.

PC's will always run slower than gameconsols because of the operating systems, windows takes up about half your memory allready. With aditional program's running, (MSN, antivirus, Explorer, IE, clck, glass windows, ect) your pc will be nothing in comparison

>_<

" Even some ps2 games would run slow on that"

Are for real!!!!!!! I play GTA san andreas the graphics are like 1000 time better and cleaner and it runs smoother then PS2, so dont even attempt. The frame limiter is off so its so smooth u wount belive it. Second of all, My proccessor is 3.3GHZ "AMD" best for gams.

Lets not forget HalfLife 2 on mypc it runs 100% no questions asked. OHH and I do have a 120mb video card HAHAAH when i upgrade to a 500mb PCI-express They wount know what hit them!

Blue-Ray?www.blu-ray.com/images/drives/pioneer.jpg

There is a little game Crysis coming out for both PS3 and PC "exacly the same in the graphics department"

ANDI think my PC is better then the Wii graphics are you joking? dont even attempt.

take a look at the stats,www.gamespot.com/features/6125087/index.html?type=tech I love ps3 its my favorite console but, I am pissed sony sead they are gona bring something more amazing then anything...very disapointing, at least its better then the 360.

PS3 or PC? Which is more powerful? It doesn't matter. The PS3, X360 and high-end PCs all have their strengths and weaknesses, and more importantly, their own exclusive titles.

By many accounts the PC will marginally surpass the two nextgen consoles in terms of visual quality (Wii is long gone) early next year with the release of Vista and DX10 GPUs. But you will not have access to any of their killer apps (Halos, Metal Gears, etc) and will have to 'settle' with the likes of Crysis, C&C:3, HL2:E2 and ET:QuakeWars.

You do not need four or more CPU cores for gaming right now. Those are there for running simultaneous operations plus HD movies, software and networking without taking a hit. Straight gaming is much more heavily reliant on the GPU's pixel-pushing than the CPU's calculations, and all three computers have worthy GPU's. All the PC needs is an affordable HD-DVD/Blu-ray player and it's set.

Play FFXII in certain area's and then tell me you did not lag. If your PC was a consol yes, it would play games better than the ps3, but because it has windows and a bunch of other additional programs, unfortunatly, your PC will not run games as good as the PS3, Wii, or xbox360.
My PC (P4 3ghz 1GB memory 6800 geforce graphics) had lagged on a couple of PS2 games.

correct. but...

-Get a clean hard drive ONLY XP nothing else. (win,2000,98,95 if posible its WAY less memory)
-0 programs in the backround.
-in windows tast manager priority of real time (high) it basicly consentrats all your memory on the running program (ur gamse).
-set your in game options low. ie. 800x600. NO big diference if its 1280x1024.
-set the audio low (if u dont care about graphics vs audio)

That should make it rather smooth if ur playing a high end game.

I'd rather buy a console then spend hundreds of dollars on an SLI or Crossfire setup that will be outdated right after you walk out of the store, just my two cents.. Don't get me wrong, i love my pc.. But since the release of the 360 and PS3, my computer has been used more for internet the PC gaming. The only thing is that i'm better at shooters with a keyboard and mouse, but the PS3 has changed all that..
