how do i confirm that my psp's recovery function is working. i m on sec
. other thn going to the blue recovery page and pressing the eboot thing. any other way??

make sure you have it installed correctly first. the easiest way to do that is to get one of the installers and have it do it. once its installed you dont wanna use that option tho because it will run the update. if you try to cancel it once it begins flashing you will brick ur psp.

Yeah but you would be able to reupdate it to 1.5 right? since the recovery is ment to recover your psp from a brick .. am I wrong? :S
You would just hold R when you turn on the psp even if it is bricked and the blue menu would show up i think o_O?

NEW 1.5 PSP OWNER :D!!!

Well its more of a guess but the custom firmwares are meant to recover partial bricks from flashing things like bad gameboots, sounds, etc. If certain things are deleted from the firmware then even the recovery program wont be able to recover it.

yup i agree with hexit. thts wht i m worried about. tht it doesnt work
so how do u make sure its working. without actually flashing it back to 1.5

hold the R button, if a blu screen comes up then it workin gif not install it and try again.

does tht show u tht the actual recovery function is working too? u know the one where it helps u recover to 1.5 or whtever firmware from a brick.

is it possible that if u put the revoery folder on a normal psp 1.5 it well still recover
