hi , i just baught Oblivion and have been playing it for a few months now on my 2 6600Gt in sli but they havent got enough power to run oblivion on high detail so i was just wondering if some one could suggest a card that can run that game and costs $300 or below. i was thinking about buying a 7600gt 256mb but im not sure if its enough power

if you want the highest settings in oblivion you need to spend all 300, it is the most demanding game out.
i have an asus 7600gt and on it i get about 35/40 fps indoor and 10/15 outdoors on horseback, once you get off the horse to fight and stuff it goes up a bit. thats almost on full settings (some shadows off)its totaly playable.
tomshardware guide will give you a good idea of what you will need to power your screen tho.
