Yes - it's a 120 gig hard drive made by Western Digital.
It's on the master connection.

Well, I dont have an extra power supply core, unless if its better to have seperate power supply for the cd/dvd drives and have the 2 hard drives share.

Also, is it better to have the burner in slave or master?

You just need one power supply for all - it's the connectors from the power supply that you shouldn't split/share with the other drives.

If you don't have a spare connector - leave the dvd-rom unplugged from it and try burning again.

Shouldn't really make a diff on the master/slave. But you can set the burner to the master connector and the rom to the slave.
Just change the jumper pins on the make to match the place on the connector.

Taking off the power to dvd rom didnt work. im trying new media now. not the best, but different.

Well, the new media completed burning. I'm gonna test it and see if there's any freezes, and ill burn other stuff to make sure. Thanks for all your help binkie. Happy holidays.
