Hi I am quite new to this, I softmodded my xbox and it worked no problem, I have the slayer disk and that works too. I tried to install the 250 gig harddive on the xbox but when I power it up, it comes up with a black screen with green writing saying that I need to take the xbox to a service technician because there is something wrong. It won't even boot from the slayer disk, what am I doing wrong?? do I need to push buttons so that the slayer disk can boot? or something please help my kids are harassing me about it to no end. thanks in advance

you gotta have a modchip to install it straight from the xbox but you can use XBHDM without a mod-chip. thats what i did.
