my problem is i went to back up clerks 2 and another movie john tucker must die.
i can copy them but the problem is no matter what i have tried they always copy/ play with the directors commentary on even when i choose to play without it.

you either picked the wrong audio channel to record or you recorded all the audio channel and you have to use your remote button/or setting on your playback software to change audio channel so you get back to the movie audio! the second option is the easiest. the first option means you must record all over again and this time pick the correct audio channel...... usually the first ENGLISH DOLBY AC 3/6 OR 3/2 are the movie audio channels to pick from!

i have now tried recording with every audio choice and all 3 of them still play with the commentary when i choose off or on(tried them on just in case it got backwords for some reason)cant turn them off in film either with in movie menu.
no one else has had this problem with his movie or any other.
have latest AnyDVD and clonedvd2 is only couple months new dont know if they have newer version but mine is updated

I pretty sure you can change the audio channel with the button on the remote control of your DVD player..... it should have a button for AUDIO and try it to change the audio channel.

I would definitely try your disk in a different player! See if it works.. what's the movie that you recorded? maybe the audio channel is DTS? and your player can't play DTS so it plays the only other audio channel that works, which is the director comment channel. Other than that I can't tell you what happened with your disk while recording/playing!

those movies were easy to do and had no problems what so ever! Don't know what else I can tell you to do. the problem is not your programs... it's your player!
