How do I control burn speed?

How do I change the burn speed with Nero Express? My Cd's skip when I use Nero Express. I'm using a Samsung TS-H552U, everything burns at maximum speed and I can't figure out how to change speed.

After you compile your CD, and click next you have the choice of choosing your burn speed, the is Nero 6, but it still is the same.




You really ought to update that Nero, it is old and Nero Express had skipping problems with CD's in the early versions of 7.

What is a good newer version of Nero? I hear good and bad things abou newer versions, & not sure what's good?

The latest version should be fine.... 7.5.9.0 is what I'm using.
