Problem started a couple days ago...suddenly could not burn discs without errors. I have since updated all involved software: DVDShrink, DVDDecrypter, RipIt4Me and Nero to vers 7. I have also updated my firmware, and have tried both Sony and Maxell DVD+R. Same result. I am up to my ears in useless discs. Countless hours gone that I will never get back. This is my last appeal for help before I tie this Sony Vaio to the bumper of my truck and drag it to CompUSA so it can watch itself being replaced.I AM SO FRUSTRATED! Please help save an innocent computer from a violent death!

Hmm, very similar, however not exactly, to this log here.
Anyway, same advice to you...

You have Nero 7 instelled over Nero 6. What you need to do is save (write down) your Nero 7 serial number and then run these tools.

Now, reinstall Nero 7 with your serial number that you wrote down :-)
Also, you're burning too slow @ 2.4x. Burn faster @ 4-8x!
Lastly, it seems your burner isn't too keen on the media you are using. If the above help doesn't fix it, buy new media, preferably Verbatim disks! :-)
