Im thinking of getting a media center PC for my living room. I currently have a Directv HD receiver w/ 32" HDTV LCD. I want the pc to be my DVR but have no idea what I need or how it would hook up to the pc from the receiver. I know XP media center ed o/s is probably the way to go, but are there any suggestions on Moterboards or CPUs. I have no idea what would be a good but not to pricey video card. Id think PCI express but dont know, and dont know what inputs/outputs it should have? Whats minimal ram? I don't game but want to get best picture quality for good price. Thanks alot!!!!
