Can't Burn after XP Reinstall

I have been burning DVDs no problem on for the past 2 months with my new laptop. I have a Sony VRD-VC20 external DVD Drive I have been using for about a year.
My laptop crapped out so I had to recover and reinstall everything. Since then I have only burned 2 successful DVDs out of about 15. The two I burned were very slow.
My laptop also has an internal Sony DVD RW Drive. I tried that too and it always fails so I suspect it is not hardware related.
I am going to post my VRD-VC20 log here and follow up with a second post of the log from my internal drive.

I forgot to mention I am using Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-R 8X Media.
I am pretty sure the media is good becuase I am using media from the same batch for the past week and the failures started after my XP reinstallatino.

First off you have Roxio installed, which conflicts with Nero. Run this tool to get rid of it.

Your laptops firmware is up to date though.
You're using the latest version of Nero 6 so that's ok.
However, your memory usages are pretty high. Make sure you don't run anything else whilst burning!

Lol, it's no problem.
Also each Nero log is different, so searching is pointless; unless you teach yourself what to look for in it and how to fix it.
Hope you get it sorted. Any further help needed, just come back here! :-)

Roxio was the culprit. I am burning again with no problems.
