Recently, i just finished my basement and now im looking for a projector and a sound system to go along with it. however, im on a budget of about 1500 cdn. i'm looking for a projector with preferably hdmi so i can hook up my ps3. i have about a 14' wall on which i wnat to project it on to.

in terms of audio, im looking for a home theatre in a box because the cost for a seperate reciever and speakers are a bit too high. so far, this is what i had in mind:

Projector :Optoma HD70 720p DLP Home theater Projector 720p DarkChip2 4000:1 contrast ratio 1000 ANSI Lumens 16:9 Aspect Ratio 1.2x Manual Zoom and Focus HDMI/Component/VGA/RCA/S-Video Input

one more question: what does usb host mean??

EDIT: i almost forgot; i also need a screen or possibly some special paint for the sceen. and how bad does a projector look on a normally painted wall?can anyone point me in the right direction about this? thanks

anyways, i was reading at the a/v sci forums that the mitsubishi hd1000u is also a great projector. the prob is im in canada and it seems to be impossible to find in canada. if anyone knows where i can get one can you plz tell me?

i usually don't post here i am not a expert your set up looks ok but if you upgrade the project it will make a hell of a difference talking from experience

go with the JVC speakers and since you got the ps3 get a better projector it might cost more but its worth when you have a HD hookup (your ps3)
