Like millions of others:

I have 100's music files in both MP3 and WMA & I simply want to burn them all onto CD-R as WMA (for obvious reasons)

I can't find an option to do this, but Nero MUST be able to perform this simple task musn't it?

If not, can you direct me to some thing that can?

Sure it will. You are going to want to encode the mp3 to wma first. Then just burn them to a data disk. Select encode audio then select wma or whatever you want them to end up as.

Ahhh - I should explain better

I dont want to convert all my music files perminently

i just want to burn them as wma for this particular CD - convert them on-the-fly (just as it converts mp3 to audio files)

Can it do this?

Not on the fly. Just convert them to wma then burn them to data disk then delete then. The original will still be whatever you started with. When you say its converts mp3 to audio it actualy does. It will do the same for wma or whatever format you use that it can read. This is when selecting to make audio disk because audio disk has to be cdda.

Yes - Since it can encode audio & it can burn CD's, I was assuming it would burn .WMA or .MP3 in the same manner as it already burns .CDA (encode & burn on-the-fly)

At least i'll stop looking for something it can't do - Thanks

Maybe next year before Nero put these two things together
