Ok so I was looking at random homebrew/ds rom stuff and after my cousin got an m3 i wanted to check it out
I recently saw something called a supercard ds slot1, and seemed very interesting. Seemed simple and everything. I noticed that the requirements to do it were a supercard ds, card reader and micro sd card. All of these seemed simple enough. I have links for the microsd and the card reader, but im not sure if these work, and are compatible(also if these are the cheapest solutions). Also where would be the best place to look for a supercard? Thanks for advance. Links are below

Your looking at the wrong card reader. The ds needs a gba card reader. Its shaped in a gba fasion so that it fits in the gba slot of the ds. Make sure your getting the right super sd as well.
