Im currently downloading 'blah blah' which is a 5gb file and ive downloaded 99.8% in 36hrs, however the last 0.2% is taking forever (i mean like a couple of days) my download has gone down from a good speed to a speed of 0.1Kbps. Can someone guide me here and help me get this last bit.

Hi,
Try right clicking the torrent and selecting "Force start" & then restarting uTorrent.

Hey,
There could be a few reasons or this.
* There's a thumbs.db file in the folder you're downloading. If this is the case, you won't ever have a 100%: this file is a system file and change as the system sees fit, so probably even the initial seeder doesn't have a 100%.
* some piece got scrambled and cycle. Force re-check of the torrent. Often the last piece finally fits after that.
* No one has the last 1% a seeder is needed -- sometimes the case but other two should be checked first...
Furthermore, only 1% missing in a file isn't a big deal: unless it's a the very beginning it won't prevent you from playing it. There'll only be a glitch somewhere, test it out and see if its usable.
Best bet is to ask at the tracker for someone to seed or whether there's a thumbs.db in there.

@Plextor
Hey :-)
Have you tried the suggestions in this thread? BTW, edit out the part where you talk about screener's , as your not supposed to have them unless you run a rental store.. :-p

No problem Plextor, I'll elaborate.
Firstly, to try and rectify this notorious Bit Torrent problem, try right clicking the torrent and selecting "Force start" & then restart your torrent program, when you've restarted it should resume downloading (you can also check if your firewall has allowed uTorrent access to the network).
If it doesn't resume, go to the tracker and ask for someone to seed it (you may need to be patient!), ask if anyone else is having this problem and whether the uploader allowed a thumbs.db file to get into the torrent.
~EDIT~: PS. People don't really like "text talk" on this site (that's the "coz" & "safe" etc), try to type in proper English :-)
